The public is strongly encouraged to attend this, and all, of the Growing on Tradition Meetings as we look together to create a comprehensive strategic plan for the future of Grandview Heights.

“This is the first step of many,” said Mayor Ray DeGraw, “With each step we are looking to the community for input and participation to make this a truly collaborative process to move our community forward while retaining the traditions that make us great.”

The City has retained the planning firm of McBride Dale Clarion to guide the strategic planning process. In addition, a second firm, yet to be announced, will be working alongside McBride Dale Clarion to align community vision, programmatic needs and wants with civic space utilization and opportunities. Ultimately this track of the community planning process will break off into its own track to develop a Civic Campus Master Plan that can be executed by the City over a period of time.

In addition to public meetings, the City is accepting applications for constituents wishing to serve on either the Community or Civic Campus Master Plan Steering Committees. To apply, submit your resume and a letter of intent to by May 1, 2018.
