Grandview Heights Growing on Tradition Community Meeting 2The City of Grandview Heights will hold its second public meeting for its Community Planning Process, “Grandview Heights: Growing on Tradition”, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Shelter at Wyman Woods from 7-9 pm.

The second meeting will be an open house. While there will be a quick recap and summary of the community feedback provided during Meeting 1 at the beginning, residents are encouraged to come anytime between 7-9, as their schedule allows. During the open house, participants will be invited to give specific feedback to further refine the work that was done at Meeting 1. The public is strongly encouraged to attend this, and all, of the Growing on Tradition Meetings as we work together to create a comprehensive strategic plan for the future of Grandview Heights.

Following the second public meeting, Grandview Heights residents will also have the opportunity to participate via an online tool to help obtain a broader reach for those who may not be able to attend. A link will be posted on the planning process website at soon after the meeting, as well as social media.

“We had a great start at the kickoff meeting in April,” said Mayor Ray DeGraw. “It was a nice mix of people who had to work as a team and really opened up the idea of what our community is and wants. This process will continue to build on previous findings and help guide us as a community into the future.”

McBride Dale Clarion will again guide the strategic planning process, with NBBJ working alongside McBride Dale Clarion to align community vision, programmatic needs and wants with civic space utilization and opportunities. Ultimately NBBJ’s track of the community planning process will break off into its own track to develop a Civic Campus Master Plan that can be executed by the City over a period of time.

The city invites the public to follow along on the website where the documents and meeting videos are posted.
