Fire Hydrant Flushing

Beginning October 1, 2017 and ending  October 31, 2017 the Grandview Heights Fire Department will be having crews on the street flowing and pumping hydrants. This will take place during the daylight hours. You may experience a slight lost in water pressure for a few minutes. You may also notice a slight discoloration in your water. This discoloration is just sediment in the mains and will clear up in a short time. Laundry should not be done while you are experiencing water discoloration because articles of clothing may become permanently stained. Some of you may not experience any problem at all. If you experience a prolonged problem, please call the Grandview Heights Fire Department (488-5904) or the Columbus Division of Water (645-8270).
