GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio – Mayor Greta M. Kearns has appointed Aubrey Hale Strategy & Engagement Officer as she restructures and modernizes the City’s administrative staffing model.
Ms. Hale has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University and over 5 years of municipal government experience, having served most recently as a Management Analyst at the City of Troy, Ohio after successfully completing two internships. “Grandview Heights has a great reputation and I am thrilled to bring my passion for serving the public and my love for city government to this wonderful community,” said Hale. “I am excited about the opportunities ahead of us in managing the City’s strategy and engagement functions and working with the entire leadership team of the City. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with a creative team who have a passion to build on the many great accomplishments thus far.”
Kearns said, “Ms. Hale brings energy, depth, and strategic thinking to the City’s team as we manage change and look to the future.” Kearns emphasized, “Director Dvoraczky and I are in full agreement that Ms. Hale’s professionalism and can-do attitude will be well received by our residents and staff alike.”
In creating the positions of IT Director and Assistant to the Mayor, Kearns told Council the information age and changing needs of the City have necessitated a restructuring and emphasized this was accomplished within budget and required no additional funding.
